Example: Workflow with manual loading and unloading

Individual MüKoFLEX modules

(1) Loading / unloading position
(2) Machining position

The procedure:

  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (1)
  • The operator loads the workpiece carrier by hand
  • The workpiece holder moves into the machining position (2)
  • Machining, for example pressing screws in or performing leak test
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (1)
  • The operator removes the finished machined part by hand

Module (A)
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading position (1)
  • The operator loads the workpiece carrier by hand
  • The workpiece holder moves into the machining position (2)
  • Machining, for example, embedding several inserts with MüKoTES
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (3)
  • Automatic unloading of the workpiece on the transfer system (4)

Module (B)
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (3)
  • The workpiece carrier is loaded automatically with the workpiece from the transfer system (4)
  • The loaded workpiece holder moves to the loading position (1)
  • The operator loads the workpiece carrier by hand, e.g. with screws
  • The workpiece holder moves into the machining position (2)
  • Machining, for example inserting screws
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (3)
  • Automatic unloading of the workpiece on the transfer system (4)

Module (C)
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (3)
  • The workpiece carrier is loaded automatically with the workpiece from the transfer system (4)
  • The workpiece holder moves into the machining position (2)
  • Machining, for example, checking the assembly of inserts and screws and leak test of the workpiece
  • The workpiece holder moves to the loading / unloading position (3)
  • Automatic unloading of the workpiece on the transfer system (4)

As many MüKoFLEX modules can be interconnected as you need to meet your production requirements.

Optionally, additional machines can be connected with the transfer system, for example: injection moulding or packaging machines.

Example: Linked installation with several MüKoFLEX modules

Unit with MüKoFLEX modules

Procedure:

  • The workpieces are transported from two injection moulding machines directly to the assembly line via conveyor belts.
  • The MüKoFLEX modules for assembly, ultrasonic welding and leak testing are linked via a conveyor belt.
  • An industrial robot removes the workpieces from the conveyor belt and places them one after the other in two modules for welding.
  • The gasket assembly and laser marking modules are stand-alone. An operator inserts the workpieces by hand.
